We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Telecom Manager to join our team and lead our telecommunications infrastructure and strategy. Position Overview: The Senior Telecom Engineer at AnswerNet will be responsible for overseeing and optimizing the telecommunications infrastructure, systems, and operations that support our contact center services. This role will involve strategic planning, network management, vendor relations, and team leadership. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in telecom management, with a deep understanding of the contact center environment, and the ability to drive innovation and efficiency. Key Responsibilities: 1. Telecommunications Strategy and Planning: o Develop and implement a comprehensive telecommunications strategy aligned with the company's business objectives. o Assess current and future telecom needs, identifying opportunities for improvement and cost optimization. o Stay updated with industry trends and emerging technologies to ensure AnswerNet remains at the forefront of telecom advancements. 2. Network Management: o Oversee the design, deployment, and maintenance of the company's telecom networks, including VoIP, SIP trunks, PBX systems, and cloud-based communication platforms. o Ensure network reliability, security, and scalability to support high volumes of contact center operations. o Monitor network performance and implement proactive measures to prevent outages and minimize downtime. 3. Vendor and Stakeholder Management: o Manage relationships with telecom service providers, equipment vendors, and other third-party partners. o Negotiate contracts, service-level agreements (SLAs), and pricing to ensure the best value for the company. o Collaborate with internal stakeholders, including IT, operations, and customer service teams, to align telecom services with business needs. 4. Telecom Operations and Support: o Implement and enforce telecom policies, procedures, and best practices. o Conduct regular audits of telecom systems to ensure compliance with industry regulations and standards. 5. Project Management: o Lead telecom-related projects, including system upgrades, new installations, and migrations, from concept to completion. o Manage project timelines, budgets, and resources, ensuring successful delivery within scope. o Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless integration of telecom systems with other business applications. 6. Reporting and Analytics: o Develop and maintain telecom performance metrics and reporting dashboards. o Provide regular updates to senior management on the status of telecom initiatives, network health, and cost-saving measures. o Use data-driven insights to recommend and implement improvements in telecom operations. Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in Telecommunications, Information Technology, or a related field (master's degree preferred). 7 years of experience in telecommunications management, with a focus on contact center environments. In-depth knowledge of VoIP, SIP, PBX, and cloud-based communication systems. Proven track record of successfully managing telecom projects and vendor relationships. Excellent problem-solving, analytical, and decision-making abilities. Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with stakeholders at all levels.
