WHAT YOU WILL DO:
The IT Developer/Analyst II will develop new applications, support, and enhance existing proprietary applications and cloud applications according to the business needs of the organization. Job duties include:
Communicate with Business Analyst/Project manager and other business stake holders to get clear understanding of the requirements.
Automate the organization’s business process by following system development lifecycle steps.
Research potential programming needs and required programming languages.
Provide and propose creative design for the solution.
Provide estimated work hours to complete the development.
Design and create database.
Design and create applications integration.
Write code with industry accepted coding methods.
Create reports.
Write system development documentations.
Test the solution before handing it over for User Acceptance Testing.
Deploy the solution according to the project plan.
Keep on supporting the applications for issues or enhancements.
Keep track of tickets and provide solutions through the support ticketing system.
Mentor more junior staff members.
Other duties as assigned.
YOUR MUST HAVES:
Must be 18 years of age or older.
College diploma or university degree in the field of computer science or information systems.
5-7 years of related work experience.
Skills required for the following development environments –; C#.net, Visual Studio 2012, MSSQL.
Strong understanding of SDLC.
Learning capability of new technology.
Ability to work with team members as well as individually.
Excellent analytical, mathematical, and creative problem-solving skills.
Excellent listening, interpersonal, written, and oral communication skills.
Logical and efficient, with keen attention to detail.
Highly self-motivated and directed.
Ability to effectively prioritize and execute tasks while under pressure.
WHAT WE PREFER YOU HAVE:
Skills preferred for the following development environments –; Tableau, CRM (Salesforce), ERP (Dynamics AX 2012 or D365 or Chempax), Power App, SharePoint, VBA, VBScript, Microsoft Access, Microsoft Excel, Origami Risk.
Ability to work with Waterfall and Agile software development environment.
OUR ENVIRONMENT:
This is a hybrid role, partially based at the Corporate Headquarters, combining time in a traditional office setting with remote work from your professional home office. You will be expected to work on-site at minimum three days a week. The position requires sitting for extended periods of time while working on a computer.
