Business Application Manager

Work Experience:
This is a full-time position based in AMSYS INNOVATIVE SOLUTIONS. The Business Application Manager will work closely with various departments, including IT, operations and external vendors. Some travel may be required for project implementations or vendor meetings.
Summary:
The Business Application Manager will oversee the management, maintenance, and optimization of business applications that support key organizational functions. This role will ensure that business systems are aligned with company objectives, enhance operational efficiency, and meet business needs through effective application support, process improvements, and strategic planning. The Business Application Manager will collaborate with various departments to implement and support applications, manage vendors, and lead application-related projects.
Preferred Qualifications:Professional certifications such as PMP, ITIL, or relevant software-specific certifications.Experience with cloud-based business applications (e.g., Salesforce, Microsoft Dynamics, SAP).Experience with data analytics and business intelligence tools.Knowledge of API integration, data migration, and system architecture.Key Responsibilities:
Application Management:
Oversee the operation, configuration, and optimization of key business applications such as MSP Support tools, knowledge of ERP, CRM, HR systems, and financial software will be an advantage.Ensure business applications are functioning efficiently, meeting performance standards, and supported with timely upgrades and patches.Collaborate with IT and vendors and manage support tickets to ensure business continuity.
Application Integration
Ensure the seamless integration of different business applications to enable smooth data flow and interoperability.Work with IT and development teams to ensure that applications integrate properly with the organization's infrastructure.Lead data migration and ensure consistency across various platforms during system changes.
Vendor & Stakeholder Management:
Act as the primary liaison between business stakeholders and third-party vendors to ensure application support, updates, and new feature rollouts.
Process Improvement & Optimization:
Identify opportunities to streamline and enhance business processes using current and new applications.Work closely with business units to identify pain points and design application-based solutions to address them.Drive process automation initiatives and integration of applications to improve productivity.
Change Management
Facilitate smooth transitions when implementing new applications or major updates to existing systems.Lead communication efforts and training to ensure end-users are prepared and comfortable with new technologies.Gather feedback from users to fine-tune and improve application usage and processes.
Key Skills:
Strong understanding of business processes and how applications support them.Proficiency in project management (Agile, Waterfall).Experience with business applications like ERP, CRM, or other enterprise tools.Problem-solving abilities and a customer-focused mindset.Technical knowledge related to databases, application development, and integration.Excellent communication and leadership skills to work across departments.Ability to analyze data and system performance to make informed decisions and recommend improvements.
