The Scrum Master will leverage modern agile methodologies, such as the Scaled Agile Framework for Enterprise (SAFe), Scrum, and Agile, to drive rapid engagement and deliver business value in incremental stages across all engagements. In line with USDA requirements, this role will support data center migrations, ensuring quality, standards compliance, and oversight of the USDA's Enterprise Compute Environment (CE). The Scrum Master will guide development teams to embrace Scrum values and agile practices, mentor team members, eliminate impediments, and foster a culture of continuous improvement to enable transformational initiatives and lasting organizational change. Key Responsibilities: Apply modern agile processes, including SAFe, Scrum, and Agile, to facilitate rapid, incremental delivery of business value across all engagements. Ensure that the development team follows Scrum framework values and agile best practices. Provide support for USDA data center migrations, ensuring quality migration processes and adherence to enterprise data center architecture standards. Manage provisioning, support, and oversight of the USDA Enterprise Compute Environment (CE), ensuring that standards are met and maintained. Mentor and motivate teams to improve processes, eliminate impediments, and encourage continuous improvement. Facilitate Scrum meetings (e.g., daily stand-ups, sprint planning, sprint reviews, and retrospectives) to keep teams on track and aligned with organizational goals. Serve as a bridge between development teams and leadership, ensuring clear communication of project progress, challenges, and solutions. Collaborate with program and project staff to deliver technical and strategic guidance throughout the project lifecycle. Foster a collaborative and transparent work environment to promote decision-making and problem-solving. Qualifications: Master's degree (MA/MS) in a related field. A minimum of 12 years of relevant experience managing complex, large-scale programs or projects. PMP (Project Management Professional) certification required. Strong expertise in Agile, Scrum, and SAFe methodologies, with hands-on experience in Scrum Master roles. Proven ability to lead and mentor teams in an Agile environment, with a focus on continuous improvement. Extensive experience in supporting data center migrations, provisioning, and enterprise data center architecture. Excellent communication, facilitation, and leadership skills to engage teams and stakeholders across all levels of the organization. Applicants must be authorized to work in the United States. Visa sponsorship is not available for this position. Preferred Qualifications: Experience with federal government IT environments, especially within USDA or similar organizations. Strong background in supporting transformational initiatives and fostering an environment of lasting organizational change.
