Job Title: Red Hat OpenShift Developer Location: Dallas, TX (Hybrid) Duration: Long Term About the Company: We are seeking a skilled Red Hat OpenShift Developer to manage our On-Premises infrastructure and DevOps. Responsibilities: Manage Red Hat OpenShift: Set up and maintain the OpenShift Container Platform in On-Premises environments, ensuring high availability and performance. Administer Services: Handle OpenShift services such as Operators, Data Foundation, Pipelines, Image Registry, and Serverless applications. Collaborate with Development Teams: Help containerize applications and address security vulnerabilities from scans. Authentication and User Management: Set up LDAP, define roles using Role-Based Access Control (RBAC), and manage user accounts. Networking Configuration: Manage networking within the cluster to enable communication between applications. Storage Management: Configure OpenShift Container Storage for stateful workloads and manage storage lifecycles. Cluster Updates: Keep OpenShift clusters up to date and optimize performance by fine-tuning settings. Elasticsearch Administration: Manage On-Premise Elasticsearch clusters, including deployment, configuration, and troubleshooting. Kafka Management: Build and maintain Apache/Confluent Kafka messaging platforms. CI/CD Systems: Develop and maintain CI/CD systems using tools like Git, GitHub, Jenkins, and Helm. Version Control Management: Manage GitLab repositories, including permissions and conflict resolution. Jenkins Administration: Handle Jenkins installation, upgrades, configuration, and CI/CD pipeline management. PostgreSQL Management: Install and maintain PostgreSQL databases. Monitoring Tools: Set up and manage monitoring tools like Grafana and Prometheus in OpenShift. System Administration: Perform Linux and Windows system administration tasks. Scripting and Infrastructure as Code: Write Helm Charts, Kubernetes manifest files, and scripts using Bash or Python. Utilize tools like Terraform. Evaluate New Technologies: Identify and assess new tools for efficiency and security improvements. Required Skills: Technologies: Red Hat OpenShift, Kubernetes, Docker, Podman, Elasticsearch, PostgreSQL, Jenkins, GitLab, Kafka, Load Balancing. Scripting: Experience with Bash or Python. Infrastructure as Code: Familiarity with tools like Terraform. Preferred Skills: Certified Kubernetes Administrator (CKA) Red Hat Certified OpenShift Administrator
