If yes, then read on Cloud Architect position will design and implement our cloud data center strategy, utilizing the latest best of breed technologies. This role will possess a mix of advanced architectural experience with infrastructure technology. The Cloud Architect position is responsible for identifying requirements, design, installation, configuration, and integration of securely delivered cloud services. Collaborates with the IT Network and Security Operation teams to provide day-to-day engineering support for incident escalation and problem identification / resolution. The Cloud Architect will support deployments of new technologies and integrations which leverage cloud services. These solutions must meet industry standards, maximize performance, availability, capacity, TCO and exhibit integrity, reliability, functionality, and security. Optimizing the infrastructure performance, security, and resources. Schedule: Monday - Friday, 8am -4pm or 9am-5pm. This position will be a hybrid model both in person and remote with minimum of onsite expectation of 60% or as needed. Cloud Computing Platforms: Proficient in cloud computing platforms such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud Platform, including knowledge of services, features, and best practices for architecting solutions. Cloud Architecture Design: Ability to design and architect cloud-based solutions, considering factors such as hybrid data centers, scalability, availability, performance, security, and cost optimization. Infrastructure as Code (IaC): Experience with Infrastructure as Code tools to automate the provisioning and management of cloud infrastructure. Containerization and Orchestration: Familiarity with containerization technologies such as Docker and container orchestration platforms like Kubernetes for deploying and managing containerized applications in the cloud. Cloud Security: Knowledge of cloud security principles and best practices, including identity and access management (IAM), encryption, network security, and compliance standards, to ensure the security of cloud and on-premise environments. DevOps Practices: Understanding of DevOps principles and practices, including continuous integration, continuous delivery (CI/CD), and automation, to streamline the deployment and operation of cloud-based systems. Monitoring and Performance Optimization: Proficiency in cloud monitoring and performance optimization tools, to ensure the reliability and efficiency of cloud-based applications and infrastructure. Communication and Collaboration: Excellent communication skills and the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams, including developers, operations, and business stakeholders, to design and implement cloud solutions that meet business requirements. Infrastructure Design: Proficiency in designing hybrid infrastructure components, including servers, storage, networking, and virtualization technologies, to support the organization's business objectives.
