REMOTE The University of Miami Health System, "UHealth", Information Technology Department has an exciting opportunity for a full-time Workday Business Manager The Workday Business Manager leads IT and Business-side activities including analysis, design, conversion, testing, training, documentation, and go live support. The Workday Business Manager implements business processes in the specific area. Core Responsibilities Acts as a Subject Matter Expert (SME) on how to best leverage system capabilities to satisfy specific client needs. Diagnoses, documents and resolves complex grants management issues from a functional, administrative and operational perspective. Participates in EBS projects with focus on area of specialty involving strategy, support, and Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) optimization related to Information Technology (IT) operations, business processes, security, and data integrity for the Workday applications. Reviews and maps area of specialtys business processes. Reviews business processes and advise business on system services available within the Workday application. Identifies and communicates findings to senior management . Performs business analysis and composes clear, comprehensive functional requirements. Assists the testing Workday release process owners in planning and executing end to end testing. Assists the Change Lead and process owners in developing user documentation including FAQs, Job Aides, Operational Guides, Online Content, etc. Establishes and continuously assesses the effectiveness of the internal controls within the unit and compliance with University policies and procedures. Ensures employees are trained on controls within the function and on University policy and procedures. CORE QUALIFICATIONS Bachelors degree in relevant field Minimum 5 years of relevant experience Knowledge of business and management principles. Ability to direct, manage, implement, and evaluate department operations. Ability to establish department goals and objectives that support the strategic plan. Ability to effectively plan, delegate and/or supervise the work of others. Ability to lead, motivate, develop and train others. Ability to recognize, analyze, and solve a variety of problems. Any relevant education, certifications and/or work experience may be considered.
