Position Summary: We have an exciting opportunity to join our team as a Lead Analyst - Telecom. In this role, the Lead Analyst is responsible for overseeing the team and the deployment of telecommunications and circuit installations across the enterprise. This role involves coordinating with clients' technical teams and project managers to ensure seamless implementation of telecommunication solutions. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in telecom project coordination and an understanding of Cisco and Avaya telephone systems deployment. Strong knowledge of circuit technologies and excellent leadership skills. Job Responsibilities: Project Coordination: Lead the planning scheduling and execution of Cisco AVAYA and circuit deployment projects Coordinate with clients to gather requirements assess needs and provide technical recommendations Ensure all project activities are aligned with client specifications and enterprise standards Team Leadership: Supervise and guide a team of telecom staff and vendors in the deployment process Provide process training and support to team members to ensure high quality service delivery Monitor team performance providing timely feedback and escalations to Senior Management Technical Expertise: Act as a liaison between the telecom Subject Matter Expert SME the client and Senior Management ensuring clear communication of technical requirements project updates and resolving any concerns or issues in a timely manner Ensure the SME Troubleshoots and resolves complex issues that arise during installation and configuration Circuit Management: Oversee the implementation of various telecom/data circuits Coordinate with telecom carriers and vendors to ensure circuit provisioning testing and activation meet project timelines and specifications Assist with circuit related issues repairs or upgrades related to the project Stakeholder Communication: Act as the primary point of contact between vendors and internal teams Provide regular updates to Senior Management on project status milestones and potential risks Address any concerns promptly and ensure high levels of customer satisfaction Documentation and Reporting: Review and approve records of project timelines resource allocation and technical documentation Prepare and present detailed reports on project progress completion and any challenges encountered to Senior Management Ensure all project documentation is completed and archived in accordance with company policies Quality Assurance: Implement and enforce quality control measures to ensure deployments meet NYU standards Conduct post deployment reviews to identify areas for improvement and implement lessons learned in future projects Minimum Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in either Computer Science or Electrical Engineering or Mechanical Engineering or the equivalent learned job experience of at least 10 years in the industry with an vast understanding of Telephone systems, Key Systems Traffic, Engineering, Call Center, Voice Mail system and Translations Technical Skills and certification is the following areas: Siemens High Path 4000 Expressions Voice Mail Nortel Avaya CS1000 M/E Call Pilot Voice mail Unity Voice mail Cisco CUCM Cisco CCX Call Center T 1 Tie Lines Microwave Tie Lines Rad Mux Tie Lines Conaga Perkins Tie Lines PRI PSTN Trunking Call Center Reporting Traffic Engineering Preferred Qualifications: Degree in Telecommunications Information Technology or a related field Minimum of 10 years of experience in telecom project coordination with a focus on Cisco telephone systems as well as circuit technologies Proven track record of leading successful deployment projects in a fast paced environment Knowledge of Cisco telephone systems including installation configuration and troubleshooting Strong leadership abilities Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to work effectively with diverse teams Exceptional organizational skills and attention to detail Experience with large scale multi site Cisco deployments Familiarity with other telecom systems and technologies Avaya a plus Experience in a customer facing role with a focus on service excellence Qualified candidates must be able to effectively communicate with all levels of the organization. NYU Langone Health provides a salary range to comply with the New York state Law on Salary Transparency in Job Advertisements. The salary range for the role is $117,107.95 - $118,500.00 Annually. Actual salaries depend on a variety of factors, including experience, specialty, education, and hospital need.
