$84,000-

$145,000.00 annually. The pay determination is based on the applicants education, experience, location, knowledge, skills, and abilities. Eligible associates may also receive an annual cash bonus and stock incentives based on company and individual performance.Build your future with usWe are seeking a Construction Service Consultant with service responsibilities for a territory of multiple states. You will provide technical consultation and evaluation to underwriting to assist in the selection of new and renewal construction commercial multi-line (including Workers Compensation, Property, GL, & Auto) insurance. You will assist underwriting and management in making decisions by evaluating risks, analyzing data, identifying injury/accident trends and preparing reports. You will utilize your prior construction and casualty experience to provide risk management and construction loss control consultation services to our insureds to minimize actual and potential loss exposure. You will also provide ongoing technical support to assist our insureds compliance with regulations, program development for identified exposures to mitigate loss producing exposures.This position is responsible for the loss control service management and related activities for a segment of large, complex and/or key commercial accounts. This is a home-based, remote position, but will require periodic travel for business and client meetings and also to our Fairfield, Ohio headquarters.Be ready to:develop and coordinate service plans for key and complex accountsmanage policyholder loss control services for key and complex accountsconduct corporate-level risk evaluations and reports for underwritingdevelop and execute loss reduction and risk mitigation plans for policyholdersprovide regular updates to policyholder risk management associates on program implementation and progressoversee management of key accounts and coordinate all loss control requests/inquires for Key Accounts Underwritingensure that solid relationships are developed and fostered with key accountsensure coordination of risk evaluations for key prospects and policyholders are adequately conducted in a timely mannerprovide regular updates to underwriting management on account status and service plans progressensure loss control service plans are customized and delivered in a uniform fashiondevelop and maintain positive relationships with the our local independent agency partners and their clientsdevelop and maintain positive relationships with Key Account division management, underwriters, loss control specialists and loss control associatesdevelop and maintain positive relationships with field sales management and territory representativesensure technically detailed reports provide a clear assessment of risk and appropriate recommendationsupdate territory loss control, field sales, and underwriting associates on the service status for key accountsupdate agency personnel on services status for their clientsreview key account claims and loss trends in order to initiate loss mitigation efforts

Qualifications:Be equipped with:proven experience managing the service of large and complex accounts, including developing service instructions and action plans and holding mid-year account reviewsproven experience conducting corporate-level risk management assessment and evaluationssolid understanding of the independent agency systemability to work remotely and have flexibility to travel (approximately 25%)knowledge of commercial lines insurance products and coveragesknowledge in hazard recognition and control for workers compensation, property, fleet, general liability, and products liabilityability to develop and conduct training programs for large organizations with multiple locationstime management skills and ability to work independently to accomplish goalsstrong business acumenstrong interpersonal, consultative, and organizational skillsstrong strategic thinking abilitiesstrong analytical skillsability to work independently to accomplish initiativesdemonstrated pursuit of continuing educationproficiencies in Microsoft Office tools and related software

Bring education and experience from:undergraduate degree in engineering or applicable science or related experience and trainingprofessional designations such as CSP, CPCU, or ARMa minimum of 8-10 years loss control experience with a property & casualty insurance organization
