Job Description Provides training, guidance, and support to Security Command Center Operators. Is responsible for the 24x7 monitoring of all physical and electronic security systems reporting to the Security Command Center (SCC). Works with internal and external customers to assist with a wide range of physical security matters. Communicates via phone, text messages, and emails to all levels within the organization and externally. Performs access management tasks including badge creation, assignment of access, and removal of access based on policies and procedures. Intakes reports of suspicious, criminal, or other security matters. Coordinates law enforcement, security, and internal response to a variety of security incidents. Makes key SCC operational decisions in the absence of leadership. Upholds the safety compliance standards inherent in PSE's operating and/or field procedures related to work responsibilities. Promotes and supports a culture of total safety. Demonstrates commitment to conduct business honestly, ethically and consistent with our core values and Code of Conduct. Ensures duties are performed in accordance with all regulatory compliance obligations. This job is considered "safety sensitive" as defined in RCW 49.44.240 and is subject to pre-employment drug screening that includes screening for the presence of marijuana and marijuana metabolites. Job Responsibilities Makes key operational decisions in the absence of leadership sometimes with little to no advanced guidance. Provides support, training, and guidance to SCC Operators and contractors. Monitors Physical Security Information Management (PSIM) system for alerts, alarms, and other events. Responds to alarm events and security situations based on Standard Operating Procedures or policies. Documents calls, alarms, reports, etc. in real-time and across various applications. Coordinates Law Enforcement response to criminal and security incidents. Makes notifications to various internal and external people or groups. Operates CCTV cameras to ascertain the cause of events and coordinate response to those. Performs access management tasks in the assigned systems to create badges, assign access, and remove access based on policies. Central Point of Contact for the Corporate Security team. Answers phone calls, text messages, and emails regarding security and access management. Fill out appropriate logs, reports, and other documents to properly report on the activities of the SCC. Identify and report any broken, damaged, or non-operational security equipment for repair. Visitor Check in at designated locations. Works with internal and external customers to assist with questions, concerns, and other reports. Assists leadership in the development of operating procedures and practices. Assists with scheduling including filling open shifts for call offs and late arrivals. Attends trainings, staff meetings, and other assigned meetings as required. Completes required self-guided training to maintain company and professional knowledge. Performs other duties as assigned. Minimum Qualifications HS Diploma or GED equivalent 3 Years of experience working in an alarm monitoring center, command center, GSOC, SOC, other security operations center, emergency/security dispatch center, or other high volume call center. 1 Years of experience conducting on the j
