Description CIeNET seeking a meticulous and highly skilled Quality Assurance Tester to join our team. The ideal candidate will have significant experience with the Android framework and test automation, as well as a deep understanding of automotive infotainment systems. This role involves reproducing and analyzing bugs, performing full regressions, and ensuring the quality of infotainment systems through detailed testing and reporting. The candidate must be comfortable working in a fast-paced, multilingual environment and capable of communicating complex technical issues to both technical and non-technical stakeholders. Key Responsibilities Reproduce bugs identified by partners and test drivers on OEM partner benches, Google reference hardware, vehicles, and mobile devices. Conduct full regression and feature-specific testing on a variety of platforms, including partner benches, Google reference hardware, vehicles, and mobile devices. Write detailed bug and test reports, perform preliminary analysis, and provide regular updates on progress via Google-powered dashboards. Maintain and update locale-specific test cases, ensuring the accuracy and relevance of testing procedures for different markets (e.g., languages, local equipment). Understand and analyze technical requirements to ensure they are properly implemented into the product. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to optimize testing processes and improve overall product quality. Communicate technical issues effectively to both technical and non-technical stakeholders, ensuring that potential issues are clearly understood and addressed. Engage in testing and validation of automotive infotainment systems, ensuring their compatibility and performance in real-world scenarios. Requirements Strong experience with the Android framework, ecosystem, and test automation. Familiarity with Android compatibility and test frameworks. Experience in automotive infotainment system testing and validation. Business-level English proficiency for reading, writing, and communication. Ability to analyze and process information methodically, with excellent task and deadline management skills. Comfortable working in environments where English is not the native language and able to effectively communicate across language barriers. Ability to explain technical concepts to non-technical individuals clearly and concisely. Strong attention to detail with a focus on producing high-quality results. Job Tasks Reproduce and analyze partner/test-driving bugs on various platforms, including OEM partner benches, Google reference hardware, vehicles, and mobile devices. Perform full regression testing and feature-specific testing across platforms to ensure product functionality and stability. Create detailed test and bug reports, conduct initial analysis, and regularly provide progress updates using Google dashboards. Maintain a comprehensive list of locale-specific test cases and ensure the thorough validation of products across different languages and regions. Preferred Qualifications Experience working in a multicultural environment where English is not the primary language. Familiarity with automotive infotainment systems and their integration into modern vehicles. Proven ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams to improve testing efficiency and product quality. Education Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related field.
