ASP.Net Developer

Job Description Day-to-Day: A client/employer of Insight Global is searching for a remote ASP.NET Developer. The developer will translate software requirements into functional code to maintain, develop, and update business applications. Responsibilities include writing, designing, building, testing, implementing, and supporting software using various programming languages and development tools. Responsibilities may include: Strong understanding of software development lifecycle and analytical skills. Design, develop, test, and maintain web applications and supporting software (e.g., web services). Implement and unit test changes to both new and existing applications. Ensure code integrity by adhering to established development standards. Execute application change requests as needed. Train and support employees on system changes and application-related issues. Write technical documentation for applications and supporting software. Stay updated on programming trends and standards to continually improve application quality and effectiveness. Skills and Requirements Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Software Design, related field, or equivalent experience Over 5 years experience in programming software and applications Strong knowledge of the development life cycle and ability to take initiative in spearheading projects Experienced in the following programming: ASP.NET, ADO.NET, C#, Web Services Proficient in Web UI development, with knowledge of HTML, CSS, Bootstrap, JavaScript, Jquery, JSON, and XML Ability to use SQL databases including stored procedures, SQL scripts, and LINQ queries Experience developing reports utilizing SSRS or similar tools with an understanding of source control systems such as Git, TFS, and Azure DevOps Excellent communication and analytical skills null We are a company committed to creating diverse and inclusive environments where people can bring their full, authentic selves to work every day.
