Windchill Developer

Job Description: We are seeking a skilled Windchill Developer to complete an automation project. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience with Windchill PLM systems and strong experience in developing REST APIs. You will be responsible for designing, developing, and implementing REST APIs within our customers existing Windchill instance to enhance system integration and functionality. Key Responsibilities: Design and Development: Develop robust and scalable REST APIs to integrate with the existing Windchill PLM system. System Integration: Work closely with cross-functional teams to understand integration requirements and ensure seamless connectivity between Windchill and other enterprise systems. Customization and Configuration: Customize and configure Windchill to support API development and integration needs. Testing and Debugging: Conduct thorough testing and debugging of APIs to ensure high performance and reliability. Documentation: Create comprehensive documentation for developed APIs, including usage guidelines and best practices. Support and Maintenance: Provide ongoing support and maintenance for developed APIs, addressing any issues or enhancements as needed. Collaboration: Collaborate with other developers, architects, and stakeholders to ensure alignment with project goals and objectives. Qualifications: Education: Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field. Experience: Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in Windchill development. Proven experience in developing REST APIs. Strong understanding of Windchill architecture and PLM concepts. Technical Skills: Proficiency in Java, JavaScript, and related technologies. Experience with RESTful web services and API design. Familiarity with Windchill customization and configuration. Knowledge of database management and SQL. Soft Skills: Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills. Strong communication and collaboration abilities. Ability to work independently and as part of a team. Preferred Qualifications: Experience with other PLM systems. Knowledge of Agile development methodologies.
