The Workplace Investing (WI) Systems group is looking for a Data Engineer to build and support next generation / emerging products. Our engineering team is innovative, diverse, passionate and driven. We work in a very multifaceted agile environment.
This position will be based full time in Durham, NC.
The Role :
You will be responsible for supporting and developing high-quality application components using full stack skills various products in Employer Journey product line. You will craft, code and unit-test new functionality in an Agile environment. In addition to day-to-day technical support responsibilities, you will also be responsible for dev tasks, building and improving existing applications.
The Expertise We are Looking For
BS in Computer Science or related degree, or equivalent experience5+ years of experience in developing Oracle SQL & PL/SQL solutionsExcellent data analysis and debugging skills with a focus on identifying data quality issuesExperience implementing data solutions in AWS using ETL tools, queues, batch scheduling tools and various storage solutionsExperience working on projects using Agile methodologiesExposure to Informatica, data quality tools, scripting languages.Java will be a plusThe Skills You Bring
You are proficient in Oracle PL/SQL and have an understanding of performance tuningYou are experienced in analyzing data, identifying gaps, issues, patterns and trendsYou can independently analyze application dependencies and conduct impact assessment of changesYou have a good understanding of database design concepts - Transactional / Data mart / Data warehouse etc.You have an understanding of CI / CD process & tools and are passionate about delivering high quality softwareYou are eager to learn and deliver in a fast-paced environment.The Value You Deliver
