Job Summary:The Analyst, Member Services will play a key role in supporting analytical needs across ArchWell Health's member services team. This will be a colleague who is motivated by the challenge of solving complex problems, conducting root cause analysis, and driving toward resolution. They will support the operational functions related to provider data management and member assignment. An ideal candidate will have technical acumen and a problem-solving mindset, with an interest in growth within healthcare operations.Duties/Responsibilities:Identify, monitor, and analyze member assignment by market to identify outliers and trendsResearch member assignment issues, analyze data, present results, and recommend solutions to address business challenges by applying knowledge of member assignment, critical-thinking skills, and healthcare experience/expertiseAnalyze membership to identify early signs of trends or other issues related to payor errors in reportingStructure analytical results in an organized, visual manner to tell a meaningful, actionable story to cross-functional stakeholdersInterpret contractual language with a clear understanding of business rules around member attributionExecute other duties and special projects as needed, focusing on knowledge and skills development

Required Skills/Abilities:Demonstrated ability to conduct independent research and present solutions to complex problemsAbility to work both collaboratively and independently to complete complex analyses, leading to actionable strategic and financial business decisionsStrong critical thinking skills to anticipate questions from key stakeholders and consider all aspects of an analysis before completionExhibit initiative in exploring and discovering opportunities to improve company performance through data analysisStrong communication skills with the ability to explain complex problems succinctly and effectively for all levels of leadershipAbility to establish trusting, professional relationships with internal, senior stakeholdersWillingness to learn and tackle new problems and opportunities as they ariseAbility and willingness to travel on occasion (up to 5%)

Minimum Qualifications:Bachelor's degree strongly preferred; equivalent experience will be considered in lieu of degree1-2 years of experience preferred, with new graduates welcome to applyExpertise in MS Excel, including proficiency using formulas, PivotTables, graphing and other reporting and presentation featuresProject management and communication skillsExperience in consulting, managed care, and/or healthcare provider/payer settings (preferred)Embodies and serves as a role model of ArchWell Health's Values:Be compassionateStrive for excellenceEarn trustShow respectStay resilientAlways do the right thing
