Status Exempt Summary The Systems Analyst is responsible for the daily operations of Kia America's business-to-business (B2B) enterprise systems including employee, dealer and consumer facing systems. Solves business problems by analyzing requirements; designing computer programs; recommending system controls and protocols. The Systems Analyst works closely with various business units and IT service providers to devise optimal solutions for various short-term and long-term enhancements, bug fixes, implement changes, and functional requirements to technical specifications. This position will also provide valuable insights for optimizing user experiences, leveraging best enterprise system practices, creating program governance, and guiding stakeholders through program innovation strategy, risk analysis, and systems integration. This position provides operational and functional administration of the enterprise systems to leverage efficiencies between systems and processes to support the evolving business needs of KUS and retailer network. This role will be responsible for the development and delivery of business requirements, solution scope, testing, training, business support, key performance indicators and data analysis for continuous process improvements. Major Responsibilities 1st Priority - 30% Support B2B and B2C enterprise systems and projects in support of company's short-term and long-term business strategy from an IT Infrastructure standpoint. Works with key business and IT stakeholders in implementing systems solutions and integrating best practices into technology platform. Oversee the support of IT infrastructure and user devices management. Provide knowledge and leadership in overseeing the management and implementation of server and storage hardware, virtualization technology, load-balancing, printers and user devices. 2nd Priority - 30% Review infrastructure initiatives and recommend changes to align them with business requirements. Assists in the development of best practices to improve infrastructure operations management, user device management and hardware or software or OS upgrades. 3rd Priority - 25% Review project deliverables and provide support throughout the project life cycle. Monitor project progress, resolve project issues, publish progress reports and recommend actions to remediate risks. 4th Priority - 15% Oversee the life cycle of changes to IT infrastructure and maintain detailed documentation. Prepare status reports for management review. Act as an infrastructure partner on projects, helping to define infrastructure needs. Education/Certification Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience required. Diploma and/or certification(s) in IT infrastructure, device management or similar skilled areas. ITIL 4 Foundation Certification preferred. Overall Experience 8 years of IT Experience Directly Related Experience 4 years of work experience in IT infrastructure related roles. Prior experience in administering Active Directory and group policy object (GPO) management. Proficient understanding of cloud environments such as Microsoft Azure or Amazon AWS. Strong knowledge of Network Connectivity and protocols with respect to the WINDOWS or LINUX platform (TCP/IP, SFTP, LAN/WAN, VPN). Familiarity with network and systems architecture and experience in troubleshooting network slowness and user connectivity issues. Prior experience in Project Life Cycle Management. Skills Ability to assess systems support operations to identify and lead process improvement. Ability to manage external vendors in the development and delivery of related products, programs, and services. Excellent customer service ability and strong verbal and written communication skills Requires high-level organizational, planning, analytical, and technical skills.
