This position will support the Northern California Water Group and typical projects involve helping staff and clients with water, wastewater, and storm drainage projects. Responsibilities Provide administrative technical support to professional and technical staff. More specifically the position shall provide direct assistance to the Associate Vice President/Director of the Northern California Water Group. Preparation/updating of technical memoranda/reports including research previous documents and obtaining information from staff for tables, exhibits/drawings, appendix info, etc. Preparation/updating of project specifications Compile documentation into PDFs to be sent to clients Prepare meeting agendas and minutes Assist with research of internal or external information Preparation of Excel worksheets Prepare draft correspondence as appropriate Prepare MS PowerPoint presentations as needed Prepare MS Project schedules as needed Maintain project electronic directories with information received and submitted as appropriate Assist other staff as needed with subconsultant information, invoices, or billing information Required Skills & Required Experience 5 years of project/administrative experience High School diploma required, Associates degree preferred Experience working with AEC industry required Experience working with engineering firm preferred Knowledge of the water/wastewater industry preferred Expert level knowledge of MS Office software (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook) Strong verbal and written communication skills Ability to organize and prioritize tasks Ability to handle multiple, simultaneous deadlines Ability to interact with staff at all levels Ability to work independently while following instructions to perform the functions of the job Must have a valid driver's license, good driving record and ability to pass a driving record background check.
