JOB SUMMARY

The JDA/Blue Yonder (Red Prairie) WMS Business Solutions Analyst is accountable for delivering high quality, comprehensive systems designs, business requirements and business cases to the IT organization that will help to improve business efficiency and productivity once implemented. Pay is commensurate with experience and this role is bonus eligible.DUTIES/RESPONSIBILITIES:Proactively solves complex problemsFixes and develops changes to Red Prairie WMS and WLM applications to meet functional and technical designs following best practices and development standards and guidelinesAnalyzes, debugs, and resolves defects in applicationsSupports production, archive, and QA systems; analyzes and resolves system problems in a timely manner; resolves end user service requests as assignedSupports business operations on weekly on-call rotationEngages with IT business systems analysts and stakeholders to understand functional requirements, and contributes to completion of functional specificationsAnalyze existing warehouse processes and identify opportunities for improvement, leveraging WMS features to enhance operational efficiencyCompletes unit and system test application changes to ensure quality of workCollaborate with IT, supply chain, and operations teams to ensure successful implementation of new processes or system updatesParticipate in project planning, scheduling, and execution for new WMS implementations, upgrades, and integrations with other systems (e.g., ERP, TMS)Prepares technical documentation on application specificationsWorks with minimal guidance; regularly participates in reviews of assigned and completed tasksPrioritizes and plans work activities; sets goals and objectives; uses time efficiently; communicates activities and results on a weekly basisTakes a customer-centric approach to problem solving; solicits feedback to improve service; meets commitmentsLiaise with JDA Blue Yonder technical support and third-party vendors to resolve complex system issues or implement new featuresQUALIFICATIONS:Required Skills and Abilities:2+ years of programming, development and analysis with JDA (RedPrairie) WMS and WLMWorking knowledge of WMS EMS alerts, configuration and maintenanceLead for change control, development, code promotion, modifications, and enhancements, system refreshes and restoresSystem configuration setups and policy maintenanceMonitor and tune performance in functional support areas using workload analysis and other predictive tools to tune system for optimal performance, policy maintenance and system configurationWorking knowledge of WMS servers, server architecture and application softwareExperience with data refresh mechanisms for all environmentsAssist and support server patches and maintenance updatesStrong experience with Logistics and Supply Chain technologies including RF, label printers, Material Handling Equipment and VocollectGeneral knowledge of workflow, middleware and web server technologyExcellent interpersonal, written, and oral communication skillsDemonstrated ability to develop and write technical documentationAbility to balance, prioritize and organize multiple tasksAbility to work collaboratively in teams and across organizationsAbility to apply creative solutions to business problems assuring business needs are effectively metDesired Skills and AbilitiesExperience with ERP application integrations with WMSExperience with 3rd party integration softwareFunctional Experience with JD Edwards, 2+ yearsJDA Track and Trace working knowledgeEducation/Experience/Certifications:Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Supply Chain, or Management Information Systems and 2+ years of experienceOR, Associate degree in Computer Science, Supply Chain, or Management Information Systems and 4+ years of experienceOR, 5+ years JDA WMS experience and 2+ years Supply Chain/Warehousing experience, in lieu of degreeTravel Requirements:Some: Up to 25% supporting WMS go-lives, IT meetings
