Certification Details Certifications: BLS, PALS required. Certs: BLS, PALS Job Details A hospital in California is looking for an experienced PICU nurse for a travel contract. The right candidate will have 3 full years of experience, hold an active BLS, PALS and CA License. Job Requirements Minimum 2 years PICU experience. Hold an active BLS, PALS and CA License. Schedule Information Shifts: 7am, 7pm Floor specific orientation: 2 shifts PICU, 1 shift peds, 1 shift burn (for peds) Weekend Requirement: Every other Holidays: 2 out of 3 Call: If census low and scheduled, may be asked to be on standby Unit Specific Information Unit: PICU beds: 8average census 2 Ratios: 1 to 2 EMR: Cerner Charge Nurse: Rarely Nurse Aides: None Tele: Spacelab tele monitors, nurses must read own strips Vents: Yes Peds Hospitalist Intensivist in house: Yes, in house 24/7 IV Team: None RT 24/7: Yes Pharmacy 24/7: Yes Floating: general peds and burn Additional Details Medical Solutions Clinical Team will pre-screen all candidates.
