Location: 4910 Tiedeman Road - Brooklyn, Ohio 44144 Accountable for creating a high performing Agile team by guiding, teaching, facilitating, and serving the team in executing the selected Agile framework. Utilizes principles and framework of Agile and Scrum or Kanban, while ensuring overall alignment to Key's adoption of Agile. Coaches team to adhere to quality standards and focus on delivering value. Assists team in identifying impediments and helps to resolve. Provides coaching and expertise in Agile practices to team members and supporting individuals. Leverages feedback and performance metrics to drive inspection, adaption, and continuous improvement across the team. Interfaces with multiple areas impacted during the Product Development Life Cycle including Product Owners, line of business and technology stakeholders. Adept in risk management and organizational change management methodologies and techniques. ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS Provides coaching to team members on enterprise Agile practices, including business changes and potential impacts. Fosters an Agile Mindset and the delivery of value early and often. Ensures team has clarity in purpose and prioritization technique. Helps the team focus on creating high-value increments that meet the Definition of Done Collaborates with team to continuously inspect and adapt process and practices. Guides team through Sprint planning and execution Facilitates select team events and ensures others take place and are productive (Planning, Retrospective, Sprint Review/Demo, Backlog Refinement, Stand-ups, etc.) Supports Product Owner to focus on value throughout backlog creation, refinement, prioritization, and release planning; ensures backlog is dependency aware. Participates in Scrum-of-Scrums and discusses internal dependencies. Partners with other team leaders to build and support empowered and autonomous teams. Surfaces and resolves barriers and impediments impacting the team's focus, autonomy, empowerment, engagement and overall continuous improvement and maturity. Guides team in experimenting with technical practices to enhance performance and effectiveness. Facilitates collaboration to quickly identify alternative, creative solutions. Responsible for coordinating and ensuring that any checkpoint deliverables required by Key's Project Lifecycle (PLC) are completed by the owner of each deliverable. Presents effectively to Agile team and all levels of management. Encourages team to respectfully challenge problem areas and status quo, using experimentation to identify better solutions. REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS Education/Certifications : bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience required. Scrum Master Certification preferred. Experience : 3 years of scrum master delivery experience, including additional 2 years of Agile experience preferred Competencies and Skills: Works autonomously and demonstrates solid Key leadership competencies; organized, servant leader and facilitator. Demonstrates strong critical thinking and problem-solving skills to analyze & solve complex problems. Experienced in using metrics and other data to help team gain insight into, and improve, their process. Understands business model and project/sprint impact to business strategy. Possess strong written, verbal, facilitation, and presentation skills. Instruct and coach cross-functional Agile teams in implementing Scrum or Kanban practices. Facilitates and encourages open & honest discussions that build healthy team culture, trust, and respect. Passionate about learning and self-improvement Coaches team to performs impact analysis, risk identification and mitigation. Effectively communicates with others by tailoring approach based on context and emotions of others. COMPENSATION AND BENEFITS This position is eligible to earn a base salary in the range of $77,000 to $143,000 annually depending on location and job-related factors such as level of experience. Compensation for this role also includes eligibility for short-term incentive compensation and deferred incentive compensation subject to individual and company performance.
