LAN Administrator

ob Description: Description: The Network Administrator Role reports to the Charles River IT Network Manager and is responsible for our networks and access worldwide. Due to the hands-on nature of this role, local candidate is required for on-site work at our Burlington, MA corporate offices. Responsibilities: Maintain and upgrade all network equipment: firewalls, switches, VPNs, Wireless Provide 2nd level support to end users facing advanced network issues Understand and follow network security policy Review network policy, create documentation and assist with audits Create and support Site-to-Site VPN tunnels to Vendors and hosted locations Provide weekly project status Requirements: Knowledge of Wireless, TCP/IP, subnetting, routing protocols, and firewall operations. Advanced understanding of switching concepts: ACLs, VLANS, MLAG, trunking, NAC/802.1x/EAPTLS Palo Alto Firewall Suite Administration, including Panorama, and Wildfire Familiarity with Zscaler ZPA,ZIA and GRE tunnel Administration Manage DNS, DHCP in an active directory integrated environment Experience with Cloud/AZure Infrastructure in a networking capacity Occasional off hours maintenance or emergency support is required Preferred: Knowledge of Extreme Networks switches and Wifi Python scripting Juniper SRX configuration 3-5 "nice to have": Local to Burlington (not negotiable) A vehicle Network skills Personable Ability to take ownership of issues Top three must-haves: Network skills Local/ability to come to the office Communication skills
