WESTON has an immediate opening for aMid-level Data Analyst/Database Analyst. The positionsupports Commercial, Industrial and DoD clients across the country.Ability and willingness to work in a Weston office on a regular basis is preferred, and the ability to travel to support field operations is required. This position requires a strong knowledge of database technologies and techniques, including Transact SQL, SQL Server Management Studio, Microsoft SQL Server, Microsoft Access, and database analysis tools. Additionally, the ideal candidate will have experience with environmental data, chemistry, electronic handling and manipulation of data.The position requires the ability to work with scientific data in relational databases, creating views, stored procedures and triggers to maintain data integrity and to serve information to various visualization applications. The position will regularly work with a distributed team to establish patterns and trends in data, establish processes to ensure data quality, and provide custom work products in the form of reports, charts, graphs, and other forms of analytics to inform users. Willingness to think outside the box and to utilize technology/innovation to make a difference in protecting the environment. Location: Edison, NJ, West Chester, PA, Denver, CO, or any of our Texas offices. Qualifications: B.S. in Computer Science, Chemistry, Engineering, Environmental Science, Business Information Systems, Data Analytics, or related degree with 6-10 years of professional experience in a team environment. Preferred Experience: Demonstrable experience with Transact SQL and SQL Server Management Studio, in a Microsoft SQL Server environment. Ability to setup views, stored procedures, and setup jobs to in SQL Server to support reporting and application needs. Experience with ESRI Spatial Database Engine and spatial databases in an ESRI environment. Experience with managing and reporting scientific data using both database processes and or reporting tools/services preferred. Experience designing custom reports with scientific data from environmental projects in the field. Compensation will vary based upon experience, education, skill level, and other compensable factors.
Salary Range: $51,700 - $68,900 - $86,000
