Oncologist Gynecologist Opportunity Central Illinois

Due to the upcoming retirement of a senior Gynecologic Oncologist, Client is seeking a Gynecologic Oncologist to join the cancer center.
Practice Opportunity Details Include:
- The Gynecologic Oncologist would primarily focus on surgical management of women with gynecological cancers and would also serve as Program Lead for the Division. Training and interest in Minimally Invasive (Robotic) Surgery are preferred.
- Practice in a multi-disciplinary setting with the Gynecologic Oncology Tumor Board, outpatient clinic, and office in the Cancer Center.
- The Gynecologic Oncologist will also enjoy a strong support from Medical Oncology, Radiation Oncology and General Obstetrics & Gynecology Services.
- Radiation Oncology Service has a very active High Dose Rate (HDR) Gynecologic Brachytherapy Program.
- Gynecologic Oncologist will be able to work with another Fellowship Trained Gynecologic Oncologist (Junior Partner) and a Surgical Oncologist in the Cancer Center.
- Client currently has two (2) Da Vinci Robots (XI and SI) and wants to stay at the forefront of technological advances in medicine.
- The ideal candidate would have some post-training experience, be board certified/board eligible in Gynecologic Oncology and have excellent interpersonal skills for program building.

- In 2018, Client and the Univ. of Illinois opened their doors to the first medical student class at the new Illinois College of Medicine.
- Academic appointment will be commensurate with qualifications and experience.
- A qualified candidate will also be considered for a Course Director Role for Women s Health Medical School Curriculum with an allocated FTE for this activity.
- Cancer Center has a National Cancer Institute (NCI) Designation and strong clinical cancer research through the National Community Oncology Research Program (NCORP) Grant from the NCI with currently > 100 open clinical trials for cancer patients in the East Central Illinois.
- Client may be able to assist with spouse/partner employment.
