Registered Dental Assistant for a Highly-Rated Dental Practice Are you looking for a dental home where you can make a difference to patients while expanding your knowledge and skills? Our focus is on the oral-systemic connection and helping our patients achieve a higher state of oral health through a full-service of dental treatments and services, including implants, periodontal therapy, and full-mouth rehabilitation. Dr. Webb, Dr. Awtrey, and the rest of our qualified staff are looking for an experienced RDA to join us full-time. The right candidate will have initiative and problem-solving abilities while maintaining a positive and team-focused attitude. Responsibilities: Assist dentist chairside to perform excellent patient care in a variety of procedures through passing instruments and anticipating needs. Discuss, record, and document the patients medical records. This includes the patients medical history, progress notes, prescriptions, and treatment plans. Educate patients about Risk Factors, disease and prevention, and needed treatment. Communicate treatment needs to patients and schedule for future appointments. Maintain relationships with patients and follow up by phone for unscheduled treatment. Prepare treatment rooms for procedures and break down treatment rooms for future patients. Maintain a sterile working environment according to current infection control procedures. Follow all HIPAA and OSHA regulations. Monitor and maintain records of supplies and equipment, reordering as necessary. Complete other duties as assigned by management. Requirements: 1 years of chairside experience as an RDA Valid Texas Registered Dental Assistant License Current CRP certification Work Remotely No Job Type: Full-time Expected hours: 32 36 per week Benefits: Employee discount Health insurance Paid time off Schedule: 8 hour shift Education: High school or equivalent (Preferred) Experience: Dental Assisting: 2 years (Preferred) License/Certification: Registered Dental Assistant (Preferred) Work Location: In person
