OverviewFormal title: Manager Applications Systems Programmer Analysis- IS Finance & Ancillary AdminSupports, maintains, develops, implements, recommends, and promotes computerized systems.Epic beaker and Lab IS experience highly preferred. Position is hybrid with a requirement to be onsite minimum 1 day per week.Responsibilities* Evaluates and identifies appropriate technology platforms (including web application frameworks and the deployment stack) for delivering company services.* Establishes and supervises the analytical process, setting short-term objectives and assessing progress.* Mentors and educates the organizational partners, customers, and stakeholders with regard to company technological vision, opportunities, and challenges.* Serves as the primary liaison between technology vendors to include building, maintaining, and enhancing working relationships with our external technology vendors and monitoring the performance of the agreements to ensure objectives are met.* Manages IT vendor(s) to ensure a high level of customer service is provided to key stakeholders in all areas of user technology services including, computer hardware and software needs, network support, training and documentation, and service desk requests.* Reviews major contracts/ statements of work for information technology services, hardware, and software purchases and projects.* Participates in annual budget development and responsible for maintaining and monitoring costs against the budget.* Directs new systems development and modification of existing systems.* Consults with users to diagnose and resolve complex problems.* Develops troubleshooting and problem resolution programs to ensure a high level of service and efficiency.* Serves as a liaison with other departments, partners and affiliates to achieve system-wide goals.* Assumes accountability for project team activities reporting completion, status, priorities, and expected completion date.* Organizes, approves, and maintains project/system documentation and/or technical specifications.* Manages work flow within the team and communication with other IS teams and user population.* Plans, develops, directs, schedules, and/or assists in the deployment and/or enhancement of information systems.* Manages staffing and personnel issues. Manages the annual performance appraisal process. Provides supervision to assigned staff and facilitate the development of and oversees their professional development plans. Oversees the hiring and orientation process.* Performs other duties as required or assigned.Qualifications* Bachelor's degree with 5 years of experience in the healthcare related, IS field with management responsibility required.* Advanced degree (in Management/Finance/Healthcare as appropriate) is preferred.* A working knowledge of system analysis techniques, microcomputers, user techniques, and networks required.* Strong interpersonal skills required.* Knowledge of relevant application systems, hardware, and software technologies.* Knowledge of DH computer service applications and support activities.* Demonstrated ability to envision and design technology-based services that meet consumer needs and solve business problems.Required Licensure/Certifications- None* Remote:Hybrid Remote;* Area of Interest:Information Systems/Technology;* FTE/Hours per pay period:1.00 - 1.00 - 40 hrs/week;* Shift:Day;* Job ID:27201;Dartmouth Health is an Affirmative Action and Equal Opportunity Employer.
