In addition, they manage the leave of absence programs (STD, LTD, FMLA). This position will be located in Aurora, CO and is responsible for additional responsibilities for Wagner's entire territory, Colorado, New Mexico, and Far West Texas in a manner that reflects the company's vision of working as "One Professional Team."
Pay Rate: $61,665.61 - $84,845.04 AnnuallyPay rate is dependent upon education & experience.
Essential Functions:

Administer benefits programs, including health, dental, vision, life, disability, accident, critical illness, stop loss, wellness, and retirement plansEnsure benefits programs comply with all federal, state, and local laws and regulationsCollaborate with brokers and insurance vendors to evaluate existing benefits programs to ensure they are competitiveCollaborate with brokers to identify trendsEducate employees and their dependents on benefits programsHost new hire and employee benefit presentations and events.Serve as the main point of contact for answering questions on benefits and HR policies and procedures as related to benefitsAdminister enrollment, changes, and termination of insurance coverage, maintaining accurate informationLead the annual open enrollment process, including communications, training, and system updatesAudit, research, and correct errors based on reports, invoices, and statements from insurance companies and internal documentsResolve administrative issues and escalated claims issues between employees and insurance companiesManage leave of absence processes and programs - Short Term Disability, Long Term Disability, FMLA, and other applicable state programsProcess weekly and monthly invoices from health insurance companiesPrepare ad hoc and standard reportsAdminister, collect, and file all necessary paperwork on employee terminationsEnter data into various systems, maintains data and ensures accuracy of dataConduct internal compliance audits of information and processesAdminister all COBRA benefits, Qualifying Event Notifications, and final documentsCoordinate FMLA with Worker's Compensation ClaimsTrack premium payments for Employees when out on leaveAdminister Tuition Reimbursement programMaintain confidential human resources information and recordsCultivate and maintain positive relationships with employees, brokers, and vendorsCollaborates with HR team to help resolve complex benefit related issues.Other duties as assigned by managerRequired Education and Experience:
High School Diploma or GEDBachelor's degree in Business or Human Resources preferred or an equivalent combination of education and experience3+ years experience in benefits administration3 - 5 years administrative/clerical experience5+ years customer service experienceUKG experience preferredPHR or SHRM-CP PreferredPhysical Demands & Competencies:
