We are looking for a highly motivated and experienced Lead Veterinarian to join our team at our animal hospital in Brandon, FL. The ideal candidate will have a DVM degree and several years of experience in a clinical setting. The Lead Veterinarian will be responsible for providing medical care to animals, overseeing the work of other veterinary staff, and managing the day-to-day operations of the hospital.
Responsibilities:
Provide medical care to animals, including diagnosis, treatment, and surgeryOversee the work of other veterinary staff, including technicians, assistants, and receptionistsManage the day-to-day operations of the hospital, including scheduling appointments, ordering supplies, and maintaining recordsDevelop and implement policies and procedures for the hospitalInteract with clients to provide information about their pets' health and treatmentEducate clients about pet care and preventive medicineQualifications:
DVM degreeSeveral years of experience in a clinical settingStrong clinical skills and decision-making abilityExcellent communication and interpersonal skillsAbility to work independently and as part of a teamCommitment to providing high-quality care to animals
