Delivery Driver

We are currently looking for a CDL or Non-CDL Delivery Driver to join our Rockford, IL team for our first shift starting at 5:00 AM. As a Delivery Driver, you will drive a CDL-required truck, transporting dry loads to customer locations throughout the local branch area. Material handling duties when not performing driving duties based on a delivery schedule.

What you'll do

•Drive truck and follow all safety procedures per company policy

•Keep complete and accurate records and logs of all driving and deliveries

•Be proficient and perform the proper procedures for performing pre-trip and post-trip inspections

•Provide quality customer service

•Pull product, load and unload trucks when not performing driving duties

•Back up other Drivers routes when needed

•All other duties and special projects as assigned

Requirements

What we're looking for

•Must be 23 years old or older (mandatory federal requirement)

•Valid Commercial Driver License: Class A or B

•Ability to follow instructions and safe operating procedures

•Demonstrated ability to provide quality customer service

•Ability to lift up to 80 lbs. and work at heights of 20 ft. on a regular basis

•Ability to be trained to use forklifts and other warehouse machinery

•Work on his/her feet including walking for extended periods of time

•Willing to work overtime as needed
