JOB DESCRIPTION:
Aeyon is seeking qualified candidates to fill a Communication Information Technology Specialist supporting the Marine Operational Test and Evaluation Squadron One (VMX-1). The candidate will recognize information as a resource critical to the command's mission success. The candidate will possess skills directly related to supporting the information technology day-to-day requirements of the command and providing comprehensive networking, maintenance, audio/visual, telecommunication, and technical support. Duties and expectations include, but are not limited to, the following:
Duties and expectations include, but are not limited to, the following:Provide end-to-end support of classified and unclassified information systems and peripherals.Exhibit specialized knowledge of applications programming and analysis techniques combined with the knowledge of pertinent system software and equipment characteristics to gather data relevant to the projects.Conduct analysis and design of system applications.Perform routine maintenance and minor repairs to IT systems and their peripherals.Coordinated major repairs to IT systems and peripherals.Support telecommunications, video conferencing, and other media to facilitate remote meetings and briefings.Ensure compliance with policies and procedures for communications, IT systems, and Information Assurance.Maintain local networks and assist in establishing and maintaining standalone Local Area Networks and IT assets.Display knowledge of system software and equipment technology to recognize developments potentially applicable to the proposed application.Assist in accounting for all communications equipment.Plan and coordinate IT asset administration, maintenance, and security.Administration of IT security updates, hardware, and software.Experience Requirements:
6+ years' Information Technology experience with DoD and DoD cyber security policies and procedures. Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with strong attention to detail and problem-solving; Excellent documentation skills; Skilled at working in tandem with a team or unsupervised as required.

Ability to take initiative, multi-task, and employ problem-solving skills with minimal supervision.Must be able to lift 50 pounds.Ability to effectively communicate orally and in writing.
Certification Requirements:
Cisco Certified Network Associate (CCNA); Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP); CompTIA IT Fundamentals+ (ITF+)
Education Requirements:
Bachelor's degree in accounting, Business, Finance, Supply Chain Management, Engineering,
Computer Science, Information Systems , Administration, or other related business, scientific or technical discipline.
Mandatory:
Familiarity with DOD and DON cybersecurity policies and procedures.
