Capgemini Government Solutions (CGS) LLC is seeking an enthusiastic and motivated Entry-Level Agile Project Manager to join our team. The successful candidate will work with project teams to facilitate agile processes, support team collaboration, and ensure successful delivery of projects. This role is ideal for individuals interested in starting their career in agile project management and scrum practices. Job Responsibilities Support the development team in implementing and adhering to agile principles and scrum practices. Facilitate daily stand-up meetings, sprint planning sessions, sprint reviews, and retrospectives. Assist the team in removing any impediments that could hinder progress, ensuring smooth project delivery. Collaborate with Product Owners to ensure the team has a clear understanding of goals, requirements, and priorities. Track team progress using agile tools and methods, ensuring transparency and accountability within the team. Promote a culture of continuous improvement by encouraging team feedback and fostering an open, collaborative environment. Document and report on project status, sprint progress, and team performance metrics. Help identify and mitigate risks throughout the project lifecycle. Support the team in handling the product backlog and refining work items for future sprints. Participate in training sessions and mentorship opportunities to enhance understanding of agile methodologies and project management responsibilities. Basic Qualifications Bachelor's degree in business administration, computer science, information systems, or a related field (or equivalent coursework). Basic understanding of agile methodologies and the scrum framework. Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment. Detail-oriented with excellent organizational skills. Ability to adapt to changing project requirements and environments. Additional Qualifications Prior internship or project experience in project management or agile environments is a plus but not required. Familiarity with agile tools (e.g., JIRA, Trello) is a bonus. Strong communication and team building skills. Strong test writing skills.
