Job Description
Hill International is seeking a Scheduler for an on-going project in New York.
Responsibilities
The scheduler shall have an in-depth knowledge of construction practices and sequencingThe construction scheduler shall review construction schedules with supporting documentationRegularly inform all stakeholders about schedule changes, delays, and progress to keep everyone alignedIdentify potential scheduling risks and conflicts, proposing mitigation strategies to prevent project delaysDemonstrate the ability to prepare a Critical Path Schedule (CPM)Prepare detailed reports on project timelines, progress, and any deviations from the plan for management reviewAssist the Project Team in evaluating and monitoring the Contractors progress schedule as well as consulting and troubleshooting issues throughout the construction of the projectCoordinate with procurement and logistics teams to ensure timely availability of resources as per the scheduleUtilize scheduling data to forecast project completion dates and resource needs, adjusting plans as necessaryConduct regular audits of schedules to ensure accuracy and completenessExcellent computer skills within depth knowledge of Primavera scheduling software and Microsoft Project. Ability to utilize Microsoft Office products, specifically Word and Excel will be requiredQualifications
BS degree in Engineering, Architecture, Building/Construction Management is preferredMust have a minimum of 7-10 years' scheduling experienceStrong background using Primavera P6 scheduling softwareDemonstrated experience in scheduling for large-scale or complex construction projects, preferably in sectors like infrastructure and commercial buildingsExceptional ability to prioritize tasks, manage time effectively, and handle multiple projects simultaneouslyExcellent verbal and written communication abilities to effectively convey scheduling information to diverse audiencesProven ability to work effectively in a team environment and collaborate with cross-functional teamsMeticulous attention to detail to ensure accuracy in scheduling and reportingWillingness to adapt to changing project requirements and work environments, including potential site visits or extended hours when necessaryExperience with construction schedules for the design-build phase of the projectsCritical Path Method (CPM) scheduling knowledge/experience and the ability to analyze schedules to determine duration and logic issuesProficiency developing detailed resource loaded design and construction schedules, and preparing progress/status reports and performance of earned value analysisExperience with time impact analysisConstruction claims and change order experience is preferredConstruction scheduler should have experience integrating the construction schedule into the master schedule
The salary range for this position is $100,000-$130,000. The offered salary will be based on the applicants qualifications, education, experience and work location.
