Providing technical support in the development, documenting, and implementation of one or more projects/solutions that satisfy the business requirements of aligned application development requests within the allocated time and budget. Providing input on design specifications. Provide ownership and administration for one or more projects.

This is a hybrid position which will require the candidate to report and work from the office three days a week. Therefore, interested candidates should be within a 50-minute radius from Temple, TX.

Manage multiple tasks associated with one or more projects. Help with gathering requirements.Understand and communicate all processes with multiple business units.Create detail specifications for Microsoft T-SQL stored procedures. (Procedures, Functions, Triggers, User Defined Types, etc.)Create detail specifications for Oracle PL/SQL Modules (Packages, Procedures, Functions, Triggers, etc.) related to TMS systems.Create test plans and detailed system documentation.Consult with users to ensure the following: McLane methodology is followed, requirements and design deliverables match the design specifications, test plans fit the requirements and test results correspond to test plans.Develop and test solutions using the McLane development tools and meet the McLane standards.Design, Develop, and Support PL/SQL, ETL processes for loading data from External as well as internal systems.Work independently and leads other project team members.Provide technical support of projects to include assistance with programming.Understand McLane's capabilities in the areas of application programming, database and system design.Maintain awareness of new and emerging technologies.Comply with and help enforce standard policies and procedures.Suggest areas for improvement in internal processes along with possible solutions.Minimize McLane's exposure and risk on project.Resolve and/or escalate issues in a timely fashion.Manage day-to-day client interactions which include expectation setting, relationship management, effective communications, and evaluation of alternative solutions, seeking opportunities to increase customer satisfaction, and building a knowledge base of each client's business, organization, and objectives.Seek and participate in development opportunities.Continuously learn new tools and environments and acquire new skills to maintain and enhance job performance.MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS AND REQUIREMENTS:

Bachelor's degree or equivalent, related experience.Strong written and oral communication skills.8+ years working with Software Development.5+ years writing Detailed Specifications.5+ years Developing Oracle PL/SQL Environment.2+ years working with Offshore Developers.Extensive Performance Tuning Experience of Oracle Applications.Strong understanding of the Oracle Architecture discipline, processes, concepts, and best practices.Significant coding walk-thru experience.Has experience in an Exadata environment.Experience with Transportation Management Systems.Proficiency with multiple development tools and multiple environments.WORKING CONDITIONS:
