BI Analyst

A large healthcare system is hiring for a BI analyst to join their team. Each day, this individual will receive a project list of items that will need to complete and work alongside other team members in order to complete the tasks. This individual will need to have a strong ability to intake, organize and subsequently deliver actionable tasks. On a day to day this individual will work with large data sets from multiple systems and ensure data accuracy. The ideal candidate will have experience with SQL, Power BI, Tableau, ETL Tools and Processes, as well as knowledge of data privacy regulations. This position will be hybrid in the San Diego Area.

Required Skills & Experience -3-4 years of experience as a BI Analyst -Proficiency in SQL, including advanced querying techniques, data manipulation, and performance optimization -Strong experience with ETL tools and processes, including SQLSSIS, Python, or other data transformation tools -Proficiency with databases and data warehouses (e.g., SQL Server, MySQL, AWS, Azure) -Familiarity with data integration platforms and tools (e.g., Talend, Alteryx) -Knowledge of data privacy regulations (especially FERPA) and best practices for handling sensitive data -Ability to work with large data sets from multiple systems and ensure data accuracy Bachelors degree in Data Science, Information Technology, or a related field
