PRIMARY PURPOSE OF POSITION

Advises management on collective bargaining agreement (CBA) provisions, grievances and discipline procedures. Assists the Labor Relations Manager with compliance risks and other key metrics reports. Supports Labor Relations training sessions and focus groups related to employee relations and compliance programs.Primary Duties:

PRIMARY DUTIES AND ACCOUNTABILITIES

Assist in managing grievance procedure issues, requests for information and arbitration preparation. (40%)Provide assistance to Human Resources and Line Managers on interpretation and administration of the collective bargaining agreement (CBA). (40%)Assist in developing labor strategies, assist with negotiating collective bargaining agreements with the union. Leads projects to identify risks and process gaps. Develop recommendations to close gaps identified. Pull, analyze and report on compliance risks and other key Labor Relations metrics (10%)Plan and facilitate labor relations training. Assist in the research of training needs and updates. (10%)Job Scope:

Bachelor's degree in Labor Relations, Human Resources, Industrial Relations, Business or related field4-7 years of relevant labor relations and/or HR experienceOutstanding critical thinking and problem-solving skillsExpertise in Excel and Data AnalysisExcellent planning and organization skills; attention to detailIn lieu of degree, 6-9 years of relevant experiencePreferred Qualifications:PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONSBachelor's degree in Labor Relations, Human Resources, Industrial Relations, Business or related field4-7 years of relevant labor relations and/or HR experienceOutstanding critical thinking and problem-solving skillsExpertise in Excel and Data AnalysisExcellent planning and organization skills; attention to detailBenefits:
