This is a great opportunity for CRNAs looking for a stable position with no call, nights, or weekends. Responsibilities:
- Schedule:
- Weekdays only: Monday to Friday.
- Shift options: 8, 10, or 12-hour shifts.
- Flexibility: Open to 2 weeks on/2 weeks off schedule.
- Estimated Shifts/Month: 20.
- No On-Call Duties, No Nights, No Weekends.
- Typical Day:
- First case starts at 7:15 AM or 7:30 AM.
- Room turnover time: 15-30 minutes depending on the service line.
- Approximately 40-50 cases per day hospital-wide.
- CRNAs typically handle 3-6 cases per day.
- Medical direction with a typical ratio of 1:3 or 1:4.
- Case Load:
- Adult Patients: 90%.
- Pediatric Patients: 10%.
- Typical Cases: General surgery, neuro, orthopedics, podiatry, ENT, pediatric ENT, GI/GU, GYN, robotics, EP, C-sections (no epidurals required), endoscopy.
- Specialty Coverage: Level II trauma center, but no thoracic or cardiac cases. No transplant cases.
- Procedures: CRNAs perform spinals and arterial lines, though these are not mandatory.
- Pediatric cases: Mainly ENT; CRNAs handle pediatric cases in collaboration with supervising physicians.
- Certification: Board Certified CRNA, ACLS.
- Experience: Minimum of 1 year of experience required.
- Licensing: Must hold or be eligible for a Pennsylvania State License.
- Skills: Proficiency in performing spinals and arterial lines is preferred but not required.
- Privileges: Full privileges available.
- Time to Credential: Approximately 60 days.
