The candidate functions as Chief of the MH Service. The candidate effectively contributes to strategic objectives by developing, implementing, and coordinating programs, in collaboration with VACCHCS executive leadership and through collaboration with other leaders across VISN 21 sites. The candidate effectively leads the organization toward achieving stated VHA and VISN program goals, in support of the VHA Mental Health Strategic Plan and in concert with VHA and VISN Strategic and Performance Measurement plans.
Schedule: Monday through Friday, 7am - 4:00pm excluding Federal Government holidays. This position is not eligible for telework or hybrid work.
Qualifications:
- U.S. Citizenship.
- Unrestricted U.S. Medical License.
- Successful completion of an Accreditation Council for Graduate Medical Education (ACGME) or American Osteopathic Association (AOA) accredited fellowship in Psychiatry.
- Board Certification within Psychiatry
- 3 years of supervisory experience

- $325,000 - $370,000 compensation package based on training, experience, and local labor market.
