The Physician Affiliate Group of New York (PAGNY) is seeking an Academic Hospitalist to join our dedicated team at NYC Health + Hospitals/Jacobi. This premier facility accommodates over 325,000 outpatient visits, 100,000 emergency room visits, and 20,000 inpatient admissions annually, serving a diverse community with a wide range of healthcare needs. Wages and Benefits include:
Annual Base Salary: $193,418* (board eligible); $199,220* (board certified) based on 40-hour work week. Additional compensation available for extra call or sessional/per diem hours.
The annual total value of the compensation package is estimated at $308,279** (board eligible) and $314,662** (board certified), which includes the baseline salary, 401(k) contribution, sessional/per diem hours, and other factors as set forth below:

- Direct clinical care for underserved, diverse population in the Bronx
- Flexible scheduling options to meet applicant needs
- Supervision of Hospitalist service Medical Residents and Advanced Practice Providers (APPs)
- Supervision of superb medical residents with an average USMLE Step 2 score of 257, who have ranked in the top 20% nationally on the National Inservice Exam for 9 years, with the last 2 years in the top 10%
- Educate and mentor medical students from both the Albert Einstein College of Medicine and the City University School of Medicine

Wages and Benefits include:
Annual Base Salary: $193,418* (board eligible); $199,220* (board certified) based on 40-hour work week. Additional compensation available for extra call or sessional/per diem hours.
The annual total value of the compensation package is estimated at $308,279** (board eligible) and $314,662** (board certified), which includes the baseline salary, 401(k) contribution, sessional/per diem hours, and other factors as set forth below:
- Estimated annual compensation for 10 additional sessional/per diem hours worked per week is $55,520.
- Projected bonus of up to $40,000 (based on previous year's average), contingent upon meeting quality and productivity targets.
- 401(k) Company Contribution (subject to IRS contribution limits):
- Employees are immediately vested in a 3% company contribution of base earnings. No employee match is required.
- After one year of service, employees receive an additional 7% company contribution of base earnings. No employee match is required.
- Annual Continuing Medical Education (CME) Reimbursement.
- Generous Annual Paid Time Off (PTO): Vacation, Sick, Holiday, and CME days.
- Medical, Prescription, and Dental Coverage: Top-tier plans with employee contributions significantly below market rates.
- Life Insurance and Accidental Death and Dismemberment (AD&D) Coverage: Equal to 2x your salary (up to a maximum of $300,000) provided at no cost to you.
