Responsibilities

Provide specialized nursing care to critically ill patients with cardiovascular conditions in a high-acuity CVICU setting.

Assess patients' cardiovascular status, monitor cardiac rhythms, and administer medications as prescribed.

Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to develop and implement comprehensive care plans for optimal patient outcomes.

Perform advanced cardiac monitoring and interventions, including hemodynamic monitoring and ventilator management.

Educate patients and their families on cardiovascular health, treatment options, and post-discharge care strategies to promote recovery and prevent complications.

Required Qualifications

Current RN license

BLS (Other Certifications as required by facility)

2 years of recent Cardiovascular Intensive Care Unit (CVICU) nursing experience.

Strong communication and adaptability skills.
