You Have:
  • Experience with performing systems engineering processes, procedures, and best practices
  • Experience with developing equipment and network configurations and identifying and proposing solutions to technology gaps
  • Experience with coordinating technology insertion efforts and supporting technology insertion testing efforts
  • Knowledge of tactical and strategic military communications networks, architecture, protocols, security, network management, and physics underlying these systems
  • Ability to collaborate and communicate effectively with Army leadership, programs, working groups, non-technical audiences, logistics personnel, and peers to ensure interoperability with the Increment 1 Program of Record baseline
  • Ability to support technical tasks in the integration of Data, Voice, Video, and Telephony in the WIN-T INC1 Networks, including engineering and technical documentation, development of technical requirements, specifications, plans and reports, software and hardware engineering, test and evaluation, and quality engineering
  • Ability to understand military doctrine and how tactical network capabilities can be layered on top of that doctrine
  • Ability to identify system architectures in support of Operational Needs Statements (ONS) that are compatible with the current tactical communication systems
  • Secret clearance
  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Cybersecurity, Mathematics, Information Technology, or Science or 6+ years of experience with systems engineering in lieu of a degree


Nice If You Have:
  • Experience with reviewing Government performance work statements and contractor proposals for technical accuracy to ensure requirements are met
  • Experience with Visio, Broadband Premises Technician, and delivering presentations
  • Knowledge of DoDAF, Integrated Support Plan (ISP), and Support Engineering Plan (SEP)
  • Knowledge of Converged Ethernet Over IP (EOIP) network
  • TS/SCI clearance
  • Master's degree

Salary at Booz Allen is determined by various factors, including but not limited to location, the individual's particular combination of education, knowledge, skills, competencies, and experience, as well as contract-specific affordability and organizational requirements. The projected compensation range for this position is $60,400.00 to $137,000.00 (annualized USD). The estimate displayed represents the typical salary range for this position and is just one component of Booz Allen's total compensation package for employees.
