Citi's Trade and Working Capital Solutions (TWCS) business within the Services organization is a dynamic, high growth global business that offers working capital solutions to clients across Banking, Capital Markets, Mergers and Acquisitions and Citi Commercial Bank client segments in over 100 countries.

The Trade LFO team is part of the Services CFO team, responsible for the end to end Financial support for the TWCS business with analysis and insight into TWCS financial results and projections. Through this analysis, the team facilitates decision making to drive performance and strategy of global products, geographies and functions, and also for use with external analysts, regulators and investors. Deliverables include, but are not limited to, monthly performance analyses, target setting and forward-looking analytics for a variety of internal and external stakeholders.

Financial Planning and Analysis (FP&A) Manager is a senior management level position within Trade LFO team reporting Trade Lead Finance Officer (Trade LFO). The well-matched candidate will provide insightful financial and strategic support focused on guiding senior management within the business towards making key decisions on how to generate and drive revenue growth and expense saving opportunities over the short and long term. The role will own the forward looking process for one or more products / segments, interact across the business to co-lead the creation of the strategic plan, as well as lead products / segments financial processes transition and integration.

Responsibilities:
  • The role partners closely with senior management in the business and multiple FP&A leads, responsible for the overall financial planning and analysis for a particular Trade product, including its strategic planning, operating planning, and outlook
  • Act as a deputy for the Trade LFO and provide broad coverage of financial management, including presenting and discussing with Services CFO
  • Develop analytical tool to track key business performance drivers / metrics, identify the potential opportunities or risks, and enhance transparency and accountability
  • Be able to push the business and drive improved performance through insight analysis
  • Provide broad financial leadership to cross functional partners in the management of the financials
  • In partnership with product, business management, business analytics, and treasury, provide competitor, markets, and client analysis to drive various business growth and optimization initiatives
  • Act as a thought-leader by sharing best practices and identifying enhancement opportunities for the team and support talent development

Qualifications:
  • Strong leadership and partnership skills: ability to work with and influence stakeholders across functions, different locations and multiple levels of the organization
  • Excellent communication skills with extensive experience in presenting infront of Senior management
  • Excellent analytical skills and strategic aptitudes, including the ability to translate complex financial schedules into meaningful analysis and presentations and assist with decision making
  • Strong understanding of TWCS businesses preferred
  • Strong project management skills, and a strong team player
  • Change agent mentality to drive for process enhancements. Track record of driving transformations and/or implementation of high-impact initiatives
  • Extensive background in financial planning, business analytics and related finance disciplines.
  • Proficient in Excel and Power Point; other analysis and visualization tools a plus
  • 15+ years of Finance experience, leading change and executing complex initiatives
  • Working in a Finance role with multiple executive stakeholders and in an organization with a

  • Bachelor's degree/University degree or equivalent experience
  • Master's degree preferred
