Job Description
The Financial Analyst - Cross Media Revenue, reporting to the Sr. Director of Ad Sales Finance and supporting the Ad Sales organization will work closely with the Pricing and Inventory team to develop a comprehensive financial assessment of sales activities. This individual will work with the divisional Finance leaders within the company to analyze and project sales and revenue activity. The Financial Analyst will support the Sr. Director of Ad Sales Finance with analysis of all proposed investments in the sales organization to ensure maximum return to shareholders.
Qualifications
• BS/BA degree, preferably in Finance or Accounting required; MBA strongly desired
• 3 or more years of relevant financial modeling, analysis and reporting experience with at least 1 year of media related forecasting and budgeting experience
• At least 1 year of experience in a financial role in media (broadcast or digital) or e-commerce
• Finance experience with sales/revenue organizations required
Additional Information
• Partner with Cable P&I and Business Development teams to develop Forecasts and KPIs (Weekly/Monthly/Quarterly/Yearly/LRP).
• Identify key business drivers and trending (National/Scatter, CPMs, Ad Clock, and day parts).
• Analyze sales impact of ratings/business decisions (new programs, inventory loads, make-good efficiency etc.).
• Develop seasonal/weather condition impacts analyses projecting risk and opportunities.
• Analyze and track Client and Category/Industry Vertical mix.
• Lead development of calendar and broadcast cycle Rate Cards.
• Oversee Cross Media Affiliate opportunities and impact analysis across TV and Digital properties.
• Play significant role and influence business decisions pertaining to ad sales by anticipating executive management's financial and informational needs; provide relevant information.
• Develop financial updates for various groups, including CEO, other senior TWCC leaders and the Company's Board of Directors.
