Summary:

Effectively maintains deep technical expertise in the Salesforce Marketing Cloud platform, with an emphasis on multi-cloud integration, custom development, data architecture and integration and robust technical solutions design. Responsible for ensuring that our SFMC developers, business partners and integration partners deploy solutions that are fast to market, highly performant and scalable.

ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS:
  • Develop technical solutions within Salesforce Marketing Cloud utilizing skills such as SQL, mySQL, SOQL, HTML, CSS, JavaScript and AMPScript.
  • Support email campaign development team to include development, pre-deployment testing/QA and deployment of transactional and promotional sends.
  • Map Data across multiple data sources, driving standardization and creating workflows that support personalization in customer communications.
  • Responsible for the overall Salesforce Marketing Cloud architecture and design, providing best practice guidance and patterns to our developers and integrating partners.
  • Drive the creation of application and technical design documents which leverage Salesforce best practices and effectively integrate the SFMC platform into the Company's infrastructure.
  • Responsible for the data sync from SalesForce to SalesForce Marketing Cloud and all other data integrations needed to supplement SalesForce data for the Company's digital program.
  • Collaborate with other solutions architects, product owners, developers, and system administrators to solve technical challenges, while leveraging technical best practices and solution patterns for the Salesforce platform.
  • Collaborate with marketing, strategy, and development teams to develop microsites, implement trigger programs, help define business requirements and map process flows as well as implement new functionality and product capabilities within the Salesforce Marketing Cloud platform.
  • Audit current queries, automations, triggers, and journeys and suggest optimizations.
  • Actively participate in the technical design of Salesforce Marketing Cloud and related software components.
  • Help continuously improve by identifying, creating, and enhancing internal systems and processes based on recurring requests or evolving industry standards.
  • Provide guidance and oversight for the development team, help control project scope, and handle any unforeseen issues that arise.
  • Maintain overall health of the Salesforce Marketing Cloud platform including maintenance of user accounts, profiles, roles, sharing rules, and permission sets.
  • Manage and support the DevOps CI/CD approach, including migration of functionality between Salesforce environments.
  • Maintains Knowledge of the Company's SalesForce standard and custom data structure and any changes or new fields, workflows or processes that might impact SalesForce Marketing Cloud's setup.


MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:
  • Bachelor's degree in Business or Information Technology, preferred.
  • 3 to 5 years of experience with Salesforce Marketing Cloud administration experience.
  • Knowledge of AMPscript, HTML, CSS, and JavaScript.
  • Knowledge of MySQL, T-SQL, or SOQL, a plus.
  • Knowledge of Return Path or Everest, a plus.
  • Marketing Cloud Administrator Certification, preferred.
  • SalesForce Technical Architect certification a plus.
