Figure is an AI Robotics company developing a general purpose humanoid. Our Humanoid is designed for corporate tasks targeting labor shortages and jobs that are undesirable or unsafe. We are based in Sunnyvale, CA and require 5 days/week in-office collaboration.
We are looking for a Cybersecurity Engineer to protect Figure robots and systems from cyber threats.

We are looking for a Cybersecurity Engineer to protect Figure robots and systems from cyber threats.
Responsibilities:
- Conduct risk assessments to assess cybersecurity risks, propose mitigations and develop cybersecurity requirements
- Design and implement security measures for the robots and cloud infrastructure and applications
- Promote cybersecurity best practices at Figure, providing training and creating practical policies
- Develop processes to monitor threats and respond to cybersecurity incidents, select and deploy tools to support these processes
- Develop and implement processes and methodologies for ensuring the safety of autonomous humanoid robot operations, with a keen focus on the entire certification process
- Demonstrate compliance with the latest cybersecurity standards such as ISO/IEC 62443
Requirements:
- Minimum of Bachelor's Degree in Computer Information Systems, Computer Science, or a related discipline
- At least 5 years of experience building cyber security solutions in robotics, automotive, IoT or similar industries
- Experience conducting risk assessments, creating cybersecurity requirements, architecting secure systems, and designing security measures
- Deep understanding of network security, including Internet network protocols and detection and prevention systems
- Mastery of Operating Systems architecture, permissions and security configurations, especially Linux
- Expert with secure coding practices and programming languages, especially C/C++, Python and Linux
- Mastery of cryptographic principles including encryption, digital signatures and authentication, and secure protocols such as SSL/TLS
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively across multiple organizations
