What makes this role important at Ipsos?

Join our U.S. Marketing Team and report directly to the U.S. Chief Marketing Officer as our Internal Communications Lead and contribute to a wealth of communications that we produce, primarily within U.S. but also with global support/coordination.

What you can expect to be doing:

  • Develop strategic and tactical plans for multifaceted/multichannel (email, presentations, video) internal communications initiatives across a range of topics, for both ongoing programs supporting our U.S. Strategic Priorities, and single/project-based efforts.
  • Coordinate, write and edit executive-driven communications across a variety of topics for leadership team as well as all-staff audiences.
  • Support the process of messaging and storyline for regular employee Town Hall meetings, and other executive presentations delivered globally to various management teams.
  • Coordinate, write and edit regular internal communications including articles for our bimonthly U.S. staff newsletter.
  • Draft and post related communications alerts to the U.S. Intranet
  • Help report out/capture progress against program initiatives within our U.S. Strategic Priorities
  • Draft internal communications for HR and other support function-related activities, including regular senior new hire announcements, benefits policies, and other all-staff notices.
  • Support communications global projects including U.S. contributions to our global Ipsos staff newsletter and U.S. input for a range of sporadic global projects, as needed.
  • While 3/4 of the job is focused on internal communications, approx. 1/4 will be dedicated to writing/editing and design liaison support for core sales materials, covering our 17 Service Lines.


This might be the job for you if you have:

  • 7-10 years in journalism or marketing communications
  • 6-8 years of experience in internal communications, ideally supporting executive management
  • Ability to multitask on routine and urgent communications projects.
  • Skilled in multi-channel messaging, with execution across written comms as well as presentations and videos, together with directing clear, concise and impactful visuals (with design studio support)
  • Experience working in a large matrixed organization a plus.
  • Strong writing, editing, and proofing skills.
  • Proficiency with MS Office including/especially PPT
  • Experience with SharePoint ideal but not required
  • Ability to storyboard messaging for internal presentations, internal videos.
