We are seeking a skilled and enthusiastic Veterinary Technician to join our team.

Position Overview: The Veterinary Technician will play a crucial role in supporting our veterinarians in all aspects of animal care. This includes performing medical tests, administering treatments, assisting in surgeries, and providing compassionate care to our patients. The ideal candidate will be a detail-oriented individual with a strong work ethic and a passion for animal health.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist veterinarians with examinations, procedures, and surgeries
  • Administer medications, vaccines, and treatments as prescribed
  • Perform diagnostic tests, including blood work, urinalysis, and radiographs
  • Monitor and care for hospitalized patients
  • Educate and communicate with pet owners about care plans and medical conditions
  • Maintain accurate and thorough patient records
  • Ensure a clean and sanitary environment in all areas of the clinic

Qualifications:

  • Licensed Veterinary Technician (LVT) or equivalent experience preferred
  • Previous experience in a veterinary clinic or animal care setting
  • Proficient in basic laboratory procedures and animal care techniques
  • Strong communication and teamwork skills
  • Compassionate and patient-focused approach
  • Ability to handle animals safely and humanely
  • Willingness to participate in continuing education and professional development
