Job Title: Registered Nurse - Step Down Unit Job Specialty: Step Down Care Job Duration: 13 weeks Shift: 07:00 PM - 07:30 AM Guaranteed Hours: Not specified Experience: Not specified License: Registered Nursing License Certifications: ACLS, BLS, NIH Must-Have: - Ability to float to various inpatient areas- Nurse to patient ratio 1:5/1:6 Job Description: - Provide safe and efficient age-specific nursing care to patients and families using the nursing process.- Assist patients and families to attain, maintain, regain, and sustain optimal health status.- Implement the nursing process through effective, relationship-based nursing care.- Demonstrate technical skills in care delivery to ensure safe practice and positive care outcomes.- Exhibit clear communication and foster effective collaboration to optimize patient care and clinical operations.- Engage in self-development and contribute to the professional practice of nursing.- Display leadership that influences optimal clinical and operational outcomes.- Perform assigned RN duties.- Float between various inpatient care areas as needed, including step-down unit and others for the care of boarded patients.
