Progressive Emergency Physicians has an excellent opportunity for a full-time physician to lead our Pediatric Emergency Department team as the Medical Director at Good Samaritan Hospital Medical Center, a member of Catholic Health Services of Long Island. We are seeking a board-certified Pediatric Emergency Medicine physician, with previous administrative experience. The director will provide onsite management of the clinical and administrative aspects of our Pediatric Emergency Department. The candidate will partner closely with the Chief of Emergency Medicine to plan, manage, and implement strategies that enhance quality and efficiency, patient experience, physician engagement, mentor faculty, and trainees, and foster professional and scholarly growth of the department. The successful candidate will have an opportunity to utilize their experience as a physician leader to oversee operations, work collaboratively with other departments to ensure delivery of patient-centered, coordinated care and ensure optimum use of resources to achieve superior outcomes in alignment with the institutional mission of improving the health of the community.
