They should possess strong expertise in quality tools and techniques, including APQP, PPAP, 8D, and TS-16949, as well as a solid understanding of GD&T, SPC, and dimensional control strategies. Proficiency in interpreting math data, part measurements, and problem-solving techniques is essential. Additionally, the candidate should have the ability to collaborate effectively with customer engineering and SQE representatives, and experience in supporting lean manufacturing and continuous improvement initiatives. Summary: The Quality Engineer working thru suppliers, internal processes, and/or customers, is responsible for facilitating quality improvement, RMA activities to closure and resolving issues that lead to the achievement of supporting company objectives. Duties and Responsibilities: •Participate in Quality Planning activities.•Providing technical and administrative support as needed.•Assist in the development of dimensional control strategies.•Assist in the design and procurement of gages and instruments.•Identify root cause of problems and delays and expedite corrective action.•Assisting in successful delivery of launch for all programs, engineering changes, etc.•Define and implement strategies to support lean manufacturing principles and continuous improvement (Lessons Learned).•Perform all other-directed responsibilities as assignedBenefit offerings include medical, dental, vision, life insurance, short-term disability, additional voluntary benefits, EAP program, commuter benefits and 401K plan.
