Summary
Under the supervision of the VP of Retirement Services, this position will provide support to Executive Leadership in the Marsh & McLennan Agency Southwest regional office. Successful candidates will be proactive, organized and work well with all levels of internal management and staff, outside clients and vendors.
Essential Duties & ResponsibilitiesCoordinate executive communications, including taking calls, responding to emails and interfacing with colleagues.Schedule meetings/appointments and manage travel itinerariesConserves executive's time by reading, researching collecting and analyzing informationPrepare reports, collect and analyze information; prepare presentations.Provides historical reference by developing and utilizing filing and retrieval systems; recording meeting discussions.Data analysis; Proficient in MS Word, Excel, Outlook. Perform filtering and sorting of data, V-lookup, and other functions.Develop project plans, including schedule, budget, team member duties and timeline.
Work with department managers and follow up on resultsTrack project deadlines
Uphold a strict level of confidentialityEducation and Experience
The successful candidate will 3-5 years working as an Executive Administrator
Administrative experience performing equivalent support duties in a large corporate environment.Ability to manage multiple projects and priorities in a fast-paced environment.Excellent verbal and written communication skills and ability to interact with senior leaders of the firm.Strong ability to work independently; conduct business with a high level of commitment, judgment, and follow-through; and ability to take the initiative as appropriate.Highly proficient in Microsoft Office applications: Outlook, Word, Excel (specifically pivot tables/v-look ups) and PowerPoint.Work Environment & Physical Demands
Occasional extended hoursAbility to use computer keyboard throughout the day.Work is performed in a typical interior/office work environment.5-10% travel may be required.
