Role Title Solution ArchitectLocation Louisville, KYMode of Hire - Contract-Hire / Full-time with benefitsThe RoleThe Data Architect proactively leads and supports software developers, database architects, data analysts and data scientists on data initiatives and will ensure optimal data delivery architecture is consistent throughout ongoing projectThis role will be responsible for expanding and optimizing data and data pipeline architecture, as well as optimizing data flow and collection for cross functional teams in alignment with architectural governance and standardDeveloping and implementing an overall organizational data strategy that is in line with business processes (healthcare and specifically in PBM)The strategy includes data model designs, database development standards, implementation and management of data warehouses and data analytics systemIdentifying data sources, both internal and external, and working out a plan for data management that is aligned with organizational data strategeyCoordinating and collaborating with cross-functional teams, stakeholders, and vendors for the smooth functioning of the enterprise data systemManaging end-to-end data architecture, from selecting the platform, designing the technical architecture, and developing the application to finally testing and implementing the proposed solution Defining and managing the flow of data and dissemination of information within the organizationIntegrating technical functionality, ensuring data accessibility, accuracy, and securityAssemble large, complex data sets that meet functional / non-functional business requirementIdentify, design, and implement internal process improvements: automating manual processes, optimizing data delivery, re-designing infrastructure for greater scalability, etBuild analytics tools that utilize the data pipelines to provide actionable insights into customer acquisition, operational efficiency and other key business performance metrics5+ year of experience with Azure services like Azure VMs Azure storage, ACS, Azure Functions, Azure SQL Database, Azure Cosmos DB, Azure Logic Apps, ACS and Azure Kubernetes Service (AKS) or similar services in a major cloud provider5+ year of experience with continuous integration and continuous deployment (CI/CD) pipelines using Azure DevOps, GitHub Actions, or similar tools5+year of experience with Azure monitoring tools such as Azure Monitor and Application Insights for tracking performance, diagnosing issues, and ensuring the health of cloud serviceDemonstrated ability to write, debug, and maintain Infrastructure as code (IaC), PowerShell and Azure CLI scriptUnderstanding of Azure networking services, including Virtual Networks, Azure Gateways, S2S VPN and Azure ExpressRouteUnderstanding of cloud security principles and hands-on experience with Azure security tools like Azure Security Center, Azure Key Vault, Purview and Azure FirewallAbility to analyze and optimize cloud costs, using Azure Cost Management, billing or third-party toolMust Haves : Azure, Data bricks, Oracle, SnowflakeHere at Emids we're not scared of differences.
